[78-L] glass record mystery

I'm replying although I haven't been able to get an e-mail through to 78-L for 
a number of days (or since Bell Mail rejigged its entire system to produce 
worse service than existed between Messrs Bell and Watson). Only to say that I 
don't really know..maybe the lacquer is much thicker or darker. Tried holding 
them up to an ordinary light bulb?

Incidentally, I picked up three BLANK glass discs the other week, one with a 
crack. Figured I'd eBay them and see who bit.
