The "From:" address on this type of e-mail is almost always spoofed. That is, it doesn't come from the account it purports to be from. The "From:" address usually comes from the address book of someone who's been hacked. The spammer sends mail to one of the addresses in the address book, and makes it look like it comes from one of the other addresses in the book. This makes the spam hard to trace.
