[78-L] Charlie Jackson?

Just came across a UK pressing of Albert Wynn's Creole Jazz Band (with 
Punch Miller) on Vocalion V 1018. I have a copy of the US reissue (Br 
80042) but never noticed the guitar was played by Charlie Jackson. Is 
this the same Charlie Jackson who recorded as "Papa" Charlie Jackson who 
sang and played banjo guitar for Paramount, OKeh, et al? The time frame 
is right for it.
Oddly enough, although the UK pressing states he was playing guitar, JRR 
say it was banjo.
