[78-L] Binaural, duophonic, etc.

The comment below reminded me of certain Yamaha speakers in the early 
1970s. At the time I was selling stereo equipment part time in a 
local audio store while in law school. The manager called me over, 
laughing as he did, and told me to remove the fabric cover plates on 
two new Yamaha speakers. I did so and was amazed that the speaker 
cones were actually configured as single giant ears! One would think 
that at the best they would be configured as giant mouths. They never did sell.
