[78-L] Most disgusting place in your record searches

Thankfully, I can't. You win the filth derby.

The worst place I ever looked for records was in an old furniture store in Cleveland that had closed down a year before. Ground level wasn't so bad, but there were a lot of old record catalogs, supplements, Schwanns, and other assorted paper items along with 78s in the basement. The building should have been condemned. It was so old, there was asbestos in the walls. The smell was musty, but not the good musty - it was a dank mustiness. I began to wonder if I was that much of a collector that I would risk getting cancer breathing in that air. I almost had to hold my breath to stay down there. Fortunately, it was spacious so I could move around a lot.
