Phono enthusiasts should not miss seeing the wonderfully rendered new
movie, "The King's Speech", which is the story of therapist Lionel Logue
and stammering George VI who attained the throne after his brother
abdicated before the second World War. It is full of wonderful period
playback and recording equipment, along with microphones and banks of
broadcast apparati.
You will hear short bits of music that beg description throughout. Not
to mention, it is well done.
Is it being shown in England yet?
