The UK's Channel 4 is launching a new programme this week. Here's the press release:

"Car marque Seat is to launch 'On Track with Seat' on Wednesday (22 September) on Channel 4, a new television show where Universal Music artists record a three-track session direct to vinyl, completing the task within three hours.
The show will feature artists including Foals, Ellie Goulding, The Drums, Tinchy Stryder, Amy MacDonald, Bombay Bicycle Club and Robyn, who will be filmed in the famous Metropolis Studios in London.
As part of the recording, the artists will also perform one of their favourite cover versions. Each programme focuses on different musician as they go through the recording process with some of their biggest songs.
With each artist then producing their own sleeve artwork, the programme shows the acetate heading to the pressing plant and, in just three hours, each participant receiving a truly original collector’s item ‘hot off the press’. Decisions about what the artists and their record company will do with the pressings are yet to be made."

No doubt Mike Biel will be eager to see the "acetate" on its way to the pressing plant.
