[78-L] Label scanning

Has anyone tried a handheld scanners?  There are several brands on 
the market in the $75 to $150 price range.   One is described here 
http://www.gadgetvenue.com/portable-handheld-scanner-12220614/  and 
this type might be better than the "pen" type.
