Of course the premier collector of Ellington was Jerry Valburn.  Back in 
the 70s when Jerry realized that I was able to take excellent 35mm color 
slides of record labels for my ARSC presentations, he asked me to come 
over to his place and take pictures of his rarest and most unusual 
Ellington records for him.  I probably shot a couple of rolls, 50 or 60 
labels.  He kept the rolls -- undeveloped, but they came out just fine.  
They are probably with his collection, which I think it at the Smithsonian.
