[78-L] Unplayable laminated pressings

Hmmm....a warped but flexible disc record, and the idea of suction to hold
the disc flat....I wonder if it would work to try to play it on a mastering
lathe with the suction enabled on the platter (thinking of a Neumann VMS 70
or a reasonable facsimile thereof)?
