Vertically...but make sure the crates (milk boxes or other HEAVY
cardboard boxes!) are all COMPLETELY full (you can use cardboard
or wood "spacers" if the final box is not full!). When the records
are allowed to move around within a box, it is guaranteed that
some will wind up broken!
