Its orchestra was used by Western Electric for WEAF broadcasts and early 
experiments in electrical recording (1922-25) and stereo recording 
(1927-29).  A recent discovery are excerpts of the Capitol Theater 
performance of Sweethearts June 29, 1924, a few days after the death of 
Romberg, and excerpts from Roxy's Gang that same night from his studio 
in the theater. 

And wasn't Dr. Eugene Ormandy the conductor there in the later 20s?
