[78-L] Victor M-572

According to the 1939-40 Victor Record Catalog, the disc numbers for
M-572 are 1987 thru 1990-S, and the disc numbers for AM-572 are 1990
thru 1994-S. The -S means that the final disc is single sided, which is
probably the "something else" Lennick was thinking of. AM-572 was not
in the 1940-41 catalog and neither are in the large size blue or red
wartime catalogs. If a DM version was ever issued, and that might be
what WERM lists, it would have MUCH later disc numbers than the M and AM
versions. This reminds me to remind all of you (ESPECIALLY the NY Viola
Society) that the album prefixes MEAN SOMETHING. The disc numbers are
ALWAYS different on the different Victor coupling formats.
