[78-L] Artie Shaw Bio review in today's Wall St. Journal

Bon Bon was with Savitt a lot longer than Holiday was with Shaw, but
writers and journalists seldom note that fact.
I'm guessing it's due to the fact that Holiday was a woman, and that she
became a legendary, even cultish figure, in music. I guess Bon Bon
doesn't make good "copy" for many readers, even though he was a great
singer.

P.S. I'll say again that I don't think any band ever had two greater
singers at one time than when Savitt featured Bon Bon and Carlotta Dale.
