Greetings from Wyoming,

I'm using a Technics SP-15, dedicated for playback of 78s and 16" discs. The turntable was a freebie from a local radio station. After some minor repairs, I built a 1 1/2" thick plinth for it and mounted a longer (about 10 1/4" effective length) Jelco tonearm, purchased from Kurt Nauck. I'm using a Stanton 500 cartridge with a selection of 6 different styli, 5 of which are diamond elliptical profile. For a phono preamp I use a Hagerman Bugle Pro, which is a variable EQ model.

What I especially like about the SP-15 (besides excellent speed stability and undetectable wow&flutter and rumble) is the plus/minus 10% pitch control with digital readout. So if I need to spin an Edison Diamond Disc at 80 RPM, all I need to do is punch in + 2.2% and I'm there.

Overall, it's an excellent performer.
