oh contraire mon ami,
the Morning Call & The Camellia Grill are open 24/7 & Felix's should serve at least until 9pm. Sno-balls are good until 10pm most nites but go in a group. Least we forget there's always Tipitina's for music & libations.
have fun folks! looking forward to audio tapes.
a bit of history: when DH Holmes was in full swing as a major department store, it occupied much of the block. At Christmas all the light fixtures well dressed & Holmes' display windows the Bourbon St/ Canal corner north where full of trains, toys, animated creatures of all sorts included the famous Mr. Bingle. The entire lower level of the Roosevelt Hotel was a block long winter wonderland. Oh btw, The Boston Club next door to Gus Mayer"s is where Rex toasts his queen every Mardi Gras.

>> The Holiday Inn French Quarter, just under 2 blocks from the Chateau Bourbon, is available to ARSC conference attendees for the dates of 18th-22nd at a rate of $129. Great hotel, great location! They are also in the first block of the Quarter, on Royal. The number to call is 800-889-0372, and the group code is ARSC.<
