The preface tells you what you will not get though you did expect it.
But I was really surprised that real European jazz recordings by Allier & Brunner were lacking
in the multivolume edition (incomplete in 3 volumes, of which I have the first 2), since here they
could have been included (as far as known).
With Blackstone's Index (partly not beyond 1945) and Carey's Jazz Directory incomplete,
Delaunay produced the only "complete" general discography (though very selective),
which was still reprinted in the 60s, but ended in 1948.
Bruyninckx made the first complete discography, even including blues and some related black
non-jazz music, but then everyone (Rust, Dixon, Jepsen, Leadbitter) was angry again !
However, Bruyninckx was the first discographer who listed microgrooves for ALL prewar jazz/blues.
