[78-L] Silence (no 78 hiss) on CD issues

I had someone tell me (over on the Talking Machine Forum) that they liked my
transfer of my Vocalion reissue 78 of Chick Webb's 'Stomping at the Savoy'
better than the version on a Columbia CD they had, as mine sounded more like
music, never mind the shellac hiss of a V+ disc, compared with the
noise-free but under-water-like sound of that over-processed transfer on
that CD.
