Oh well, so much for my so-called "ear". But I recognized a few of the 
recordings used as background music in "Marty"..one of them, used twice, was a 
substantial chunk of Menotti's "Sebastian" Ballet Suite, conducted by Dimitri 
Mitropoulos (which will bring Dave Burnham into this thread).
