According to Internet Movie Database (imdb.com) it's Dick Joy, who was a regular announcer on "Playhouse 90" in the late 50s.  (He was also the announcer at the beginning of "Gomer Pyle, USMC! Starring Jim Nabors as Gomer Pyle... also starring Frank Sutton as Sgt. Carter!")
