Now, of course, The Gramophone is on-line!  Which is why I asked.  So
I'm about to check out that ad.  I was planning on using The Gramophone
for dating info when I get home, but this ad I'll look up now.

Yes, it is from The Gramophone. Years ago, I borrowed a friend’s 
collection of The Gramophone from about 1932 or 1933 and photocopied 
the Edgar Jackson reviews up through 1939. I find the advertising of 
the period fascinating, including what appears in Schleman’s “Rhythm
on 
Record.”
