And when a (jazz) label isn't featured even in "The Almost Complete 78 rpm 
Record Dating Guide", compiled by Dr. Steven C Barr - which it isn't - it 
sure IS obscure.
But there was a Command Records in Buffalo around 1949-1950, that later 
moved to the west coast. (Not to be confound with Enoch Lights label of the 
late 1950's).

Jepson wasn't very fond of third stream jazz; could be a reason he didn't 
list it.

A grandchild of Al Williams', who is a RnB artist, was born in Buffalo.
