[78-L] David Stone Martin

[Cary Ginell]

I have A-345, both on Asch and on Stinson, and neither has DSM artwork on the cover, only a photo of Ives.

 

Another Asch set, A-348, Songs by Josh White, has a stunning blue-and-black drawing of White on the cover.

 

I also have Disc 611, "Hudson Valley Songs" by Frank Warner (accompanied by the Seeger/Almanac gang, sans Guthrie) that features a DSM cover.

The only 78s were those in the Burl Ives set A-345, but the cover of her set had a Gjon Mili photo on the cover. Not sure which is the earlier edition. Or were they, perhaps, issued, simultaneously? Does any one know?
