[78-L] New Music Quandary

Were New Music Recordings recoupled? Tom Hawthorn's auction list has NMQ 1414 
listed as containing "Idless" by William Bailey anbd "Three Pieces for Piano" 
by Paul Bowles. I have a disc labelled with NMR 1414A, Idless, on one side, 
backed with NMR 1514, "Serenade for Oboe, Violin, Viola and Violoncello" by 
Richard Donovan. The matrix numbers match the labels. What gives? Were NMQ 
items reissued as NMR with different backings?
