[78-L] OT BLUE NOTE night club ~

In the early 1950's there was a BLUE NOTE night club, located at 227 West
46th Street, in the
basement of the SHARON HOTEL.  BILLBOARD: "..operated by Bill Faden, former
op of Bop
City and Royal Roost."
The NY Times indicates the building was sold in August 1953, the night club
closed.
Anyone know anything more?
Is anyone familiar with this club?  When and how long did it exist - what
acts did it present?
Any connection to BLUE NOTE Records?
What, if any, relation does it have to the Greenwich Village BLUE NOTE,
founded in 1981 by
Danny Bensusan???
