[78-L] Les Paul

The NY Times put Paul's picture on the front page.
Their article, written by critic Jon Pareles, has two errors
which should have been caught by the "paper of record":
(1) the implication that Eddie Lang ever played an electric
guitar (paragraph 7), and (2) the statement that Les
"built the first 8-track multi-track recorder" (paragraph 13),
which is entirely inaccurate, especially without acknowledging
the work of Ross Snyder of Ampex, who perfected Sel-Sync.
