Delightful series of Texas bands and performers. One addtion. In the earliest known photo of the Swift Jewel Cowboys, the performer in the bed of the truck (on the right as viewed) is Texas Jim Lewis (then probably just Jim Lewis). Jim told me he led the early Swift Jewel Cowboys, that they were on radio (forget station call letters) and would take a truck of Swift Jewel products to towns throughout Texas and sell them on the weekend.
