Where are these reviews?  In my estimation Alec Wilder never produced crap, which is one of the hallmarks of his career.  His writing and arranging were consistently excellent, across many genres.  The only times he produced anything close to crap are when he was given crap words to work with, as on some of the Golden Records children's songs.
