Back 15 or so years ago, when I had a decent income and bought
GAZILLIONS of 78's via mail auction lists...my parcels of 78's
used to arrive at the Customs Office on Front Street...! In THEM
days, 78 sellers all knew how to pack their goods for mailing
(except one silly SOB who packed the records in list-order, which
resulted in 10" discs placed on top of 7"/8"/9" discs...which resulted
in BROKEN 10" discs...!!).

I used to take a copy of my DG to the Customs Office to prove
that the records were over 50 years old...and thus exempt from
duty! In a decade (+/-) of picking up parcels of 78's, only ONE
Customs person noticed that the author of the reference book
was also the addressee of the parcel...?!
