I agree that the Daniels book is very useful. While it doesn't have the matrix dating info your book has (and granted, that became less relevant once everyone was mastering to tape), the release date of a single can usually be pinned down with much more precision than with Gart. Main reason I wound up getting the Gart book is that he includes similar information for dating LPs.
