I believe this WAS Tobin's first recording with Goodman in April
1939.It is odd, though, that it was on Victor and was cut during the
Tilton era.It was omitted from Goodman's Chronological LP series that
covered all labels.Maybe it was an audition for Tobin, if they knew or
suspected Tilton was leaving.Someone here should remember.
Tobin made 11 more sides with Goodman in August and September
1939.Most of them were released on Columbia 78s.THERE'LL BE SOME
