Slightly OT...One of the best records I've known of Red Nichols' groups is one of the very first 78s I ever bought, 44 years ago, and is this one, with Eva Taylor singing:
rg dk 8032 vt;CHARLESTON CHASERS, THE + EVA TAYLOR V;turn on the heath;de sylva, brown, henderson;;;;(w) 149073 3;;;1929 09 28 ny;co 1989 d (4702);rust jr;P Napoleon t, M Mole tb, B Goodman cl, B Russin ts, A Schutt p, J Tarto sb, S King d;8032;149073;0;jz.bd;It's the one I like most... I can provide an mp3, it's in this link to my abandoned blog: https://m.box.com/shared_item/https%3A%2F%2Fapp.box.com%2Fs%2F4ue7pbgu91bq6kus7mzhjhb1hl6oamfx
That record was very worn, but the sound is marvelous. It's a Spanish Regal pressing, which has on the other side the Rudy Marlow version of Sunny Side Up. Later I got fresh copies of both sides separated, at Naucktion, on Columbia and Velvetone. Hope you'll enjoy it!
