[78-L] Centenarians

	I don't have any other centenarians. I did try to find the last list
we had of living big band singers, but could not locate it in my old
email files. I'm sure it is in the 78-l archive but I don't think it
is searchable. It would be interesting to update it. I don't remember
Louise Tobin being on it. And I don't think Nancy Norman is on it. She
sang with Sammy Kaye (CHICKERY CHICK) and is now 96.

 With Scottish singer Mary Lee (Mary Ann McDevitt) having turned 100
in
 August we now have, at least, two vocalists from the Dance Band Era
 still alive.
 Louise Tobin (who sang with Will Bradley & Benny Goodman - and
married
 Harry James) is 103 in November.
 German-born French actress and singer Lilo (Liselotte Johanna Lewin)
is
 also a 100 years old. She starred in Cole Porters musical Can-Can
when
 it premiered on Broadway in 1953, and is featured on some cast
 recordings both in the US and in France.

 Mary Lee recorded av early as 1936. Do we know of any other now
living
 artists who recorded earlier?
