[78-L] Laser turntable

    The Japanese ELP optical turntable claims to have a 78rpm function as an extra, on-demand feature.  Has anyone on this forum used one?    I have heard credible stories of stressed DVD's flying apart while being copied.  At $20,000+ USD, I would be terrified of putting a 78rpm inside it.  Just as the Greek gods so cleverly relieved us of the knowledge of our death date, so too does a 78rpm never quite know when it's going to go.    - Lloyd in Calgary
