[78-L] "A" vs "B" sides

Seems everyone has their own way of doing this.
For my physical collection I file by Label and Issue #;
For my collection's ledger I file by Label, Issue #, Matrix# & Take,
Artist, Song Title(s), condition
and addenda - since I use a word processor everything except the addenda
must fit on one line
with the exception of any addenda which go on the next lines. Thus there
are many abbreviations
which I list at the bottom of the last page of each file;
For discographic data entry it gets more complex, which I will not go
into here with one exception.
If there is no side -A or -B on the label it becomes (A) and (B) in the
listings. Either way the -A side is
always the lowest of the two matrix numbers. This works well for 78s and
45s. Not so well for 33s!
