Discography shows Calabrese on these sides, but if he was playing, he
was not taking even the slightest lead, which perhaps could be
attributed either to a subtle change in the band's style or his absence.
I do know that when Paul was conductor at the Capital Theater, Ahola had
already left and Lou jumped ship for a brief stint with the Capitolians.
He then headed for Minnesota.
