Sending a single 78 to Europe usually works out to $22, no matter what service I use to ship it. My philosophy is, if you want it, you'll pay it.

The Global Shipping program is completely voluntary and generally entered
into only by completely clueless vendors who are too stupid to print off an
international label and complete a customs declaration. It just uses eBay
as an intermediary to do the big scary international shipping for you. They
charge ripoff level rates to pad their coffers. That said, $25 isn't that
bad for international shipping. Maybe a little high. Most higher end
dealers charge somewhere in that neighborhood.
