As I remember it Leona Anderson was not the first woman who sang off pitch, or badly, as her act. And of course Jo Stafford either followed Leona or was a contemporary, albeit considerably more subtle. I seem to remember two artistes, but not any particulars. So, who went before her? Malcolm
