[78-L] 78s on cd questions, reissue records, phono cut, etc

Hi Bryan,

You shouldn't disown the harmony cd it's great. problem is it likes to
skip quite badly on my laptop's cd drive, though not on an older cd
player I have.
I'll look out for the batwing melodies cd I'd like to hear that,
especially as my main interest is acoustical popular recordings.

To be honest I have heard in passing of rivermont, but will check it
out now. I like cds that leave the 78s alone for the most part though
retrieval/jazz oracle/timeless do a fantastic job too.

if anyone has any ideas about the other discs I'd love to know more
about them. they came from one collection of pretty rare cds.
