[78-L] 78 rpm stylus question

So I wondering if there is a connection between this strange behavior
and dog whistle. Why would a cooling wax master cause a spike at some
specific freq? Why not at many freqs or broadband? And does this somehow
relate to what Christopher is seeing? I echo his question, has anyone
else ever seen such behavior?

There's a very strange hf glitch in the recordings using your 2.8 mil stylus which I also have recently encountered. If you would like me to send the spectrogram feel free to contact me off-list.
