Wow, two great sites.  The second one is a bit suspicious as it omits the 
Bell Sisters and Bobby Wayne and the Four Flames.
But the first one omits some too, Arthur Prysock, the Beverly Sisters and 
Mickey Katz.
Between the two there's a lot of info.
I'll probably be surfing around them for hours.

1951".
The WonkyPackia article about The Cardinals is full of inconsistencies
(Abramson discovering the group in 1951, then having them come to NY in 
1950,
releasing the song in February 1951 etc).
