I suppose the question really is Why did the disc travel over to UK?

The seller's Antiquey Barn is just about 10 miles from where I live but I'm
not tempted as the audio content won't interest me, and there's been two
bids now.
The seller also has a British band doing a Mobil advertising record, one of
those flexible Durium-type discs
