[78-L] Singer on Early BBC TV

[Kristjan Saag]

Ann de Nys, singer/ pianist, songwriter, former member of cabaret group 
"That Certain Trio" (featuring singer/ actor Patrick Waddington and 
fellow pianist William Walker), later
musical director at Bolton's Theatre in Kensington.
She was also mother of actress Virginia McKenna.

Here's an announcement in the Radio Times TV Suplement of her appearance 
on BBC TV February 26 1937 (page 8).
