Bagpipe has also been used  in jazz music by Rufus Harley, an american
saxophonist who fell in love with the bagpipe after having seen and
heard the Scottish Black Watch band play at Kennedy's funeral in 1963.
Hurley has played with Sonny Rollins and Dizzy Gillespie.
French Le Viellistic Orchestra plays jazz influenced ethnic/ world/ art
music, using bagpipes.
