[78-L] Mann Brothers Orchestra

I came upon a 1927 newspaper article in a small Idaho paper about Jess 
Mann, and the Mann Brothers Orchestra.  It talked about how he was a 
local boy (from Lewiston ID) who had made it big in Los Angeles; and it 
gave the impression that either he had already made, or would soon be 
making, some recordings.  I am trying to find out if either the band or 
Mr. Mann himself recorded for anyone, or was this just somebody's 
publicist trying to make the local boy seem really important?
