[78-L] A note to any users of the US Postal Service: WRT an alternate insurance carrier ….

I have used U-Pic as an alternate insurer for USPS/FedEx/UPS carriers for over 20 yrs.
Shipsurance - Shipping Insurance and Cargo Insurance Coverage 

They offer cheaper rates/$100 unit & have 2 different rate plans.  A monthly plan with a $20 min. charge/month & the option to log in shipments within 3 days of shipping & a single shipment rate that is $0.15-0.20 more/$100 depending upon carrier that requires same day posting & payment.  With proper documentation they've always paid with in a reasonable period.

The online menu option will let you view the single shipment rate schedule for all carriers.
