I believe K-K-K-Katy had a follow-up of a tune, the exact title of which I
am not sure. It is something like, "Thtop Your Thutterin, Thtupid". This
is drawn from a long ago memory of a presentation by Max Morath. I don't
remember if it was his TV show, live performance or an LP.

Subject: [78-L] Follow-Up Songs

Eddie Calvert tried to follow upp his 1953 hit "Oh Mein Papa" with a similar
number, the (partially) self-penned "My Son My Son" in 1954.
A few years Tommie Connor & Johnny Reine wrote a follow-up to "Lili
Marlene": "The Wedding Of Lili Marlene". It was a big hit for Anne Shelton
in the UK and a minor hit for The Andrews Sisters in the US.
Does anyone know of other such obvious follow-ups, theme-based or otherwise
connected?
Kristjan
