Congratulations on the great finds. I have the original Pre-Dog Victor and on that one the date shows just above Eldridge R. Johnson. and there is also an 8 over 8 number showing between the e and the n in Camden. Not sure what that means.

The date (2/7/1901) written under the label is visible on the photos. 
It is above the word MACHINE and 7 / 1901 can be clearly seen, 
pres. preceded by a 2 (maybe an additional or replacement enlargement 
can show both full date and the letter B ?).
