Chris might be best known for his work on the Charley Patton set, "Screamin' and Hollerin' the Blues." I think it won a Grammy. He also did "People Take Warning!: Murder Ballads & Disaster Songs 1913-1938" for Tompkins Square and a recent box set of everything from the 1927 and 1928 Bristol Sessions, I think for Bear Family. These sets sound pretty damn good to my ear.
