[78-L] LP packaging question

I've seen a number of LP recordings packaged in what is normally a "set" box, but actually containing
only a single LP - sometimes in a standard cardboard LP jacket, sometimes in a paper jacket (printed front and
back as a normal jacket, but made of heavy paper).
Perhaps there should have been a booklet with the record.
Anyone recognise this type of package - assuming there was NOT a booklet, why the additional box ????
(case in point, London International TW 91067 Bellman/Dowland-Dørumsgaard arr. Vol.II)
Thanks!
Best wishes, Thomas.
